Try again

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow.” - Mary Anne Radmacher

Yesterday's run was a no go. For whatever reason, my body wasn't having it and when I try to push through the funk I ended up with a nice 1.5 mile walk home. Sigh. Heading out for another go at the 20 miles today. I hope today's weather isn't nearly as hot as yesterday's. (Two weeks ago we were having snow and I did the Xterra race with temps in the 30's and hail. Then yesterday we get a record high the 80's - wtf!)

At least I got some time in the pool yesterday. That's the one nice thing I'm learning about triathlons: just because you're having a craptacular day in one sport doesn't mean all is lost. The Beaver Freezer for example, I had one of the worst swims I've ever had, got on the bike and had an awesome ride.
