This morning I had a dream that Chris and I had twin boys. We also got two new puppies. Hubby was away on duty, so I was all alone trying to breastfeed the two babies and keep the puppies from destroying things at the same time lol
I had trouble sleeping this weekend, so I didn't do the Re-run Run 5k on Sunday. I slept until noon Saturday morning. Then that afternoon I wasn't feeling good, so I had a latte to pick me up. Big mistake. I couldn't get to sleep until after 4am. Someone's alarm went off about 5:30am and kept me awake until after 6:40am. By that time, I was in no mood to do a 5k. Oh well. I hadn't even signed up for the race yet, so I'm not counting it as an official DNS. This Sunday is the Jog for Jim 5k. Very excited because the race benefits Parkinson's research and the start is on campus. I want to try setting a new 5k PR, but I know I probably shouldn't with the Newport Marathon around the corner.
I've been doing really well on eating better :) Mondays are my official weigh-in days and I lost 5.4 pounds from last week - yay! Like I said before, I'm sure most of that was water weight from the marathon, but it's still nice to see the numbers come off and my jeans fit a little better. My goal is to lose about 10 more pounds over the next 6 weeks so I can start training for Seattle leaner and meaner.
Back to the grind with a six page paper due next Monday. The paper is supposed to be a "book report" on a very boring text book. Blug. I'm writing mostly the changes in social groups during the 12th to 14th century in Japan and how the warrior class used a code of ethos to help separate themselves from other groups. Trust me, it's just as exciting as it sounds. Then I have to turn around and do a four page "movie report". Probably going to do it on Seven Samurai. 4 weeks until summer break...
