Busy

We've been busy with family the last couple of weeks.

Chris's dad fell again and broke his shoulder blade. He's been in the hospital because the injury exacerbated his Parkinson's and he's stubborn about doing his physical therapy at home. When we haven't with his dad in the hospital, we've been helping Chris's mom out around the house.

I also went down to Lincoln City last weekend to help my family. We had to find some legal papers about a land dispute my grandparents had with one of their neighbors. The other guy figured that since my grandpa passed away now he'd be able to build whatever he wanted to build. I don't think so scooter, says my dad. We had to sort through boxes and boxes of unfiled papers - almost 20 years worth of back statements, old check books, ledgers from their hotel, ect - to find the court rulings.

Anywhos, Chris is still in Portland. I'm back in Corvallis to pack up the rest of our stuff for Hood to Coast. I'll be back probably tomorrow night. Then Friday afternoon we head up to Timberline Lodge. My first leg is at 6:15pm, then approximately 3am and 12:30pm, and we're scheduled to arrive in Seaside about 8pm Saturday night. Woot!
